Most of the vases on display here were hand-made although the smaller ones were slip cast. All were decorated using a vinyl resist to leave patterns in the glaze. This is a technique I use quite often, especially the circles, stars and the lines which wind round the pots forming a kind of spiral or a diamond pattern. I enjoy the way the diamonds vary in size and shape with the pot geometry.
